Ballast Water

Our ballast water treatment chemicals support safe, efficient and compliant ballast water management across commercial vessel operations. Developed for use in pre-treatment, disinfection, and neutralisation processes, the range helps operators maintain system performance while supporting environmentally responsible discharge in accordance with IMO requirements, flag state regulations and regional environmental legislation.

Sodium hypochlorite (12–15%) is available for pre-treatment, while our range of neutralisation agents, including sodium thiosulphate in powder and solution form (30% and 50%), sodium bisulphite solution 40% and sodium metabisulphite powder, ensure that residual oxidants are fully neutralised before water is discharged into the sea. Our CareFloc dispersant is also available for effective removal of mud and silt from ballast tanks and associated pipeline systems.
