Global supplier of scrubber agents, built around your port calls

As SOx and NOx regulations have tightened, reliable access to scrubber reagents has become a critical operational requirement. At Marine Care, we are one of the first and most experienced suppliers of caustic soda (sodium hydroxide) and urea 40% to the maritime industry, with over a decade of bunkering experience across ports worldwide.

We supply via tank truck - and where truck access is restricted, such as in the Suez Canal - via IBC with full pumping service. Our product range covers all key reagents for wet exhaust gas scrubbers and SCR systems, including sodium hydroxide 50%, urea 40% (NOxCare™), and magnesium oxide, ensuring you have what you need, wherever you are.

Setting new standards for Urea bunkering

We have pioneered a fundamentally more efficient way to bunker urea. Our TIER III barge in Houston was the first of its kind in the world, a custom-built urea bunkering barge that eliminates IBC handling entirely and reduces bunkering time by up to 80%. Building on that success, we launched UREA-Xpress in Rotterdam, an exclusive partnership with Yara operating a 600 m³ barge loaded directly from Yara's Sluiskil terminal.

Replacing up to 25 tank trucks or 600 IBCs per loading, UREA-Xpress dramatically reduces CO₂ emissions, plastic waste and port congestion while cutting cost and turnaround time for operators. It is not just a smarter way to bunker; it is the future of sustainable emission control supply.

Nox & Sox scrubber chemicals

We are experts at bunker supplies of caustic soda and have supported vessels globally for over a decade. With increasingly strict emission regulations, exhaust gas cleaning systems (EGCS) have become essential equipment. Efficient scrubber operation depends on consistent, high-quality chemical supply and reliable technical support.
