Carechlor

Carechlor is a high alkaline, chlorine based product for the removal of discoloration stains in cargo tanks caused by soot or red/ and or yellow dyed gasoline cargoes from epoxy and zinc based tank coatings.

Carechlor is generally used for removing soot stain deposits from zinc and epoxy coated tanks. It is also very effective for bleaching of stains caused by the carriage of dyed gasoline cargoes.

Carechlor is used to clean cargo holds after carrying cargoes such as pet coke, coal and mineral oil residues.

Carechlor is used in a 1-3% solution in fresh or seawater. Circulate at ambient temperatures for 2 – 4 hours. One solution usually is sufficient to clean 3-4 tanks. After this cleaning rinse thoroughly with a sufficient amount of fresh water.

After sweeping and de-mucking apply Carechlor in a 10 - 50 % solution depending on the contamination.

Let the product soak for 30 minutes making sure not to let the solution dry on the surface. Then spray off with water.

Carechlor can be applied by the Caretech Hold Cleaning Kit.
