Caretech Discharge Kit XXL

The Caretech Discharge Kit XXL has been specifically developed for the maritime industry and is designed for the efficient pumping of bilges, residual water, wash water, and contaminated liquids after cargo hold cleaning operations.

The system consists of a powerful pneumatic diaphragm pump mounted on a robust stainless steel frame equipped with an integrated magnetic fixation system. This magnetic locking mechanism keeps the pump securely in position on steel ship decks and tank tops, even during intensive operation and under the pulsations typically generated by pneumatic diaphragm pumps.

The pump is especially suitable after cement and/or clinker cargoes, after which a strong acidic cleaning is done. The acid is the slops created by cleaning, is heavier than water and will concentrate in the bilges. When a traditional electric sump pump is used to pump the slops out, the steel or, in best case, brass impellor will slowly dissolve due to the low pH and cement/clinker particles.

The Discharge Kit XXL can process high and low pH slops without any issue due to the full chemical resistant design and ability to handle even particles of 5 mm in size without wear issues. The pump is also ideal for transfer of Urea liquid from IBC/Tote to the vessel's manifold. The existing suction hose can be used to pump from top of IBC, or in case a 3" to 2" Camlock connector is used, the suction hose can be connected to the 2" male camlock connection, present at most IBC's/Tote's.
