Careclean UV

Caretreat UV is a high performance scale remover for UV operated wate water disinfection systems and other closed systems, such as ballast water treatment systems. In these systems a variety of materials is suffering from calcium carbonate, chloride scale and iron deposits. The product is based on a blend of penetrating surfactants and phosporic acid. Caretreat UV can be used identical to the UV Lamp Cleaner in Scanship systems.

Please follow the instructions as per your Scanship system for waste or ballast water treatment. For general circulation descaling/cleaning operations; use a 5 - 10% dilution in a temperature range of 5 - 50 °C. Monitor pH of circulation batch, if it increases to pH 3 or higher, add more Caretreat UV. If it stabilizes below 2 after 60 minutes, all scale and/or rust should be disolved.

Neutralize to pH 8 - 9 before disposal.

Dosingrate Caretreat UV is recommended as per the manual of your Scanship ballast/waste water treatment system or, in other cases, 5 - 10%.
