Caretreat Antiscalant WT® RO+

Caretreat Antiscalant WT® RO+ is a high performance Antiscalant for Reversed Osmosis (RO) and Ultra filtration (UF) systems. The product is based on a blend of the latest technology polymers. Caretreat Antiscalant WT® RO+ can be used on drinking water, well water, brackish water and seawater. Caretreat Antiscalant WT® RO+ inhibits Carbonate and Sulfate scales and disperses iron and biological fouling.

Caretreat Antiscalant WT® RO+ has to be dosed in the systems feedwater line at a dosingrate of 2 - 5 ppm (mg/l) based on the feedwater flow. The dosing pump should be started/stopped simultaneously with the high pressure RO pump or feedwater pump.

Caretreat Antiscalant WT® RO+ can be dosed neat or diluted. Dilution should be made with demineralized or RO water. Maximum dilution 1 : 10.

The stock life of the diluted product is 1 - 2 weeks maximum.

To prevent the dilution for microbiological growth add:

• Sodium hydroxide to a pH of 10 - 11 or
• Sodium bisulphite 1 - 2 %.

Dosingrate Caretreat Antiscalant WT® RO+ 2 - 5 ppm (mg/l).

Overdosage spills product and can cause polymer fouling.
Underdosage will result in scaling, fouling, reduced systems performance and membrane lifetime.
