Caretreat AWP-601PC

Caretreat AWP-601PC is a broad range cationic emulsion flocculant, with a high degree of charge and very high molecular weight. Caretreat AWP-601PC is designed for high rate dewatering of activated sludge from wastewater treatment plants on board Cruise liners, Merchant and Navy vessels.

Caretreat AWP-601PC is used for dewatering of activated sludge from combined waste water treatment plants on board ships. Caretreat AWP-601PC creates high dewatering rates, which results in energy savings on the incinerator(s). A high percentage dry solids after the dewatering equipment like decanter, centrifuge, belt/filter press or vacuum filter, reduces the amount of sludge. Caretreat AWP-601PC can be used in conjunction with all modern wastewater treatment plants.

Caretreat AWP-601PC has to be dosed in a distribution manifold for pre-dilution, prior to entering the waste water treatment process. For start-up of new AWP systems, please contact us for start-up advice. When switching a functioning waste water system it advised to flush pumps and feed lines with the product (not water) before starting to dose Caretreat AWP 601PC. Keep dosing settings identical to prior product. Use Caretreat Coagulant as a pre-treatment in case of extreme solid part loads (cruise ships). Use Caretreat AWP 601FW for final treatment in case of too high turbidity.

Avoid centrifugal pumps for polymer transfer, high sheer pumps will crack the molecular chains.

Spilled polymer is very slippery and should be absorbed and collected prior to thoroughly flushing with hot water.

Caretreat AWP-601PC has to be stored between 5 and 30 ˚C. Avoid Freezing.
