Caretreat Neutralizing Liquid

Caretreat Neutralizing Liquid is used to neutralize water after an acid cleaning phase. When a rinse after the acid cleaning is done with just water, acidic residues can remain which can harm people or the system.

During the rinsing with water after the acid phase, 1 liter of Caretreat Neutralizing Liquid per m³ rinsing water should be added. The pH after treatment should be in between 7.5 and 9.5. Check this with a pH-meter, a pH-paper or a pH-strip. In case the pH remains below 7.5, carefully add 500 ml per m³ of solution. Dose slowly as the product will cause a thermal reaction when in contact with an acidic solution. Once the pH is above 7, there will be no thermal reaction.

Wear protective gloves made of nitrile or plastic and facial protection.
