Careclean Caustic Soda (NaOH)

Careclean Caustic Soda is concentrated caustic soda in solid form. It can be used to boost cleaning solutions or stand alone cleaning solution.

• Effective boost on wide range of cargoes

Careclean Caustic Soda can be used in recirculation or direct injection applications. After discharging, prewash the tanks with seawater, preferably at a temperature of 60˚C. Prepare a cleaning solution inside the tank which has to be cleaned. Depending on contamination, add 0,5 % Careclean Caustic Soda as a booster. The solution can be used in a range of 10 - 80˚C. Start circulation. Continue circulation for about 2‑4 hours. The product has very limited foaming properties. Flush tank with water and drain the tank.
