Careclean Formula #4

Careclean Formula #4 is used for the removal of hardness stains after tank cleaning operations and brightening metal surfaces

• Removal of hardness stains in cargo tanks

In case hardness stains and/or residues are present after completion of tank cleaning operations, either inject 0,2 - 0,5 % Careclean Formula #4 directly into the automatic washing system for approx. 30 minutes to 1 hour (with a minimum of 1 cycle) or circulate a 0,2 - 0,5 % solution of Careclean Formula #4 in freshwater at a temperature is 75 - 85 °C for 1 hour. Careclean Formula #4 is suitable to be used on epoxy and stainless steel coatings, it is not suitable to be used in zinc coated tanks.

• Major coating manufacturers. Deviations in temperature, exposure time and concentration to the above stated can vary per coating type, consult the coating manufacturers user guidelines.
• For use on MarineLine coatings, Careclean Formula #4 to be used in max 0.4% concentration at ambient temperature and max. 0.2% at 70 degrees Celsius.
