Careclean Sewage

Careclean Sewage is highly concentrated, over 10 billion cfu (colony forming units) per liter, aerobic bacteria-enzymes mixture to treat the sludge in sewage tanks. The enzymes convert the harmful organic matter into smaller particles, that are consumed by bacteria. The bacteria convert the sludge into carbon dioxide and water. Careclean Sewage can be applied to sanitary pipelines to prevent them from clogging.

Careclean Sewage can be applied by slug dosing or metering directly into the sewage tank (i.e. Marine Sanitation Device (MSD), Collection, Holding and Transfer system (CHTS) or other type of holding tank).

A more convenient method is to apply Careclean Sewage directly to galley and sewage facilities (e.g. toilets, sinks, showers, and scuppers) as a pH neutral cleaner. Careclean Sewage replaces harsh acid, caustic and bleach based products which are all highly harmful to the normal operation of any biological system.

Careclean Sewage can be used on micro- and ultrafiltration systems.

Careclean Sewage performs within a pH range of 5,5 - 8,5 and a temperature range 10 - 40 ˚C. Extremes of pH and temperature, as well as wide shifts in either parameter over a short period of time should be avoided.

• The start-up dosage is 1 liter of Careclean Sewage per 1.000 liters of tank capacity. Add the product directly to the holding tank and allow a minimum of 24 hours after this initial application for the system to become properly activated.
• Dosage should be made daily if used as a tankcleaner in amounts of 0,25 liter per 1.000 liters of tank capacity.
• When used as a cleaner about 100 ml of product should be applied to each bowl, sink and drain in the same manner as with any conventional type cleaner. Note: When used as a cleaner, Careclean Sewage will achieve the maximum results partly due to eliminating line blockage.
